“ I can not fault this place. Service was quick, casual but polite & the food was incredible. We had the seafood paella & was told how long it would take which for me is a good sign of how fresh it was, then it came & it was incredible. Decent prices too! ”

“ We were searching for the best place to have a meal around the harbour and read reviews on quite a number of places. Asador on Egin was 4.5 and overlooking the harbour so thought is was the best place. We were not disappointed as the service and food was exceptional. The portion sizes were generous and so full of flavour. Croquettes and scallops for a shared starter followed by the iberic secret and grilled fillet steak. So very glad we made the right choice and would highly recommend. ”

“ Probably the best meal we had in Cala’n Bosch. Lovely setting looking out to the marina. We had roast lamb which my husband said was exceptional and I had the pork fillet which was also delicious. Followed by a scrumptious almond tart. Thoroughly recommend eating here. ”

“ Absolutely love this restaurant. Best gamba ajillo/tapas in Cala En Bosch and the best value for money too. Mainly ate here when not out and about on the island. Tried other restaurants around the marina but kept coming back; their chateaubriand was way better (and cheaper) than the specialist steakhouse. Ask what's good and what fish they have in; the whole turbot between the two of us was a highlight :). Loved the tapas selection and switched it about on several occasions; gambas ajillo and chorizo in red wine (both fabulous) go very well together and also with papas arrugadas (a favourite of ours from the Canary islands). Huge platefuls of padron peppers and jamon serrano with tomato on bread. Grilled veggies very good too. Hubby tried the beef kebab one day, was surprised when they asked how he liked it cooked but became clear when it arrived - it was basically big chunks of steak. The lamb shoulder I tried that same evening could have used some herbs and seasoning, but that's being really picky because their standards are so high. Ate it all anyway. Homemade flan con nata has delicious caramel sauce - had it several times - and the creme brulee is very good too. The house wine is very drinkable, the sangria is good (and you each get a free glass if you have to wait for a table), the complementary sorbete de gin de Menorca with the bill is deliciously lemony and palate-cleansing. Fabulous staff, great service and food, frequented by locals and clearly busier than neighbouring restaurants. Didn't try the menu del dia as only on at lunchtime, when we had tapas instead, but good vfm and choice. A welcome bonus for the ladies is a clean loo with sanitary products and hand cream - nice touch. Highly recommend this restaurant if you like good food. Will definitely come back when next in Menorca, wherever we stay on the island. ”

“ We popped into here on the second night of our honeymoon, the friendly gentleman ushering guests in pointed out the steak selection to us. We tried the chateubriand for two and hands down was the best steak I've ever had. Staff are super friendly and efficient. We loved it so much that we came back as our "last meal" to round off the honeymoon and had it again, and again it was beautiful! We did ask for extra chips this time as we felt there wasn't quite enough by default and they are lush. ”
